An easy loop out through Willowmavin and return via Diggings Rd and O’Donahue’s Rd. Only 30k for the whole ride, but shorter options exist. Gravel surfaces so MTB or hybrid recommended.

Today Robyn takes us on one of her training circuits out of Woodend. We will all ride together up to Kynton then have the option of returning the same way for a short ride (38k) or via Ashbourne Rd for the long ride (47k).

Meet for an 0930 start in the Margery Cres. carpark behind the Woodend Community Centre which is located on the corner of Forest St (C317) and the Calder Hwy (C792). A list of MBUG ride start points can be found on Google maps at http://g.co/maps/d4txy.

Today we will do an (almost) "out and back" ride to Andersons Gardens at the edge of the Mt Disappointment State Forest. We will go out Mia Mia Rd then continue all the way past Clonbinane to Andersons Gardens. We will return along the Sunday Creek Rd. You have the choice of riding the whole 40k or turning back whenever you have had enough.

All bitumen to the edge of the forest so bring the roadie.

A 25km scenic ride around Pyalong – this picturesque loop includes the infamous Basin Hill Rd (but we will go the easier way this time). Return via West Rd. Lots of gravel on this one, so MTB or Hybrid recommended,
